Qualifications:

• Current, active RN license in good standing
• Minimum one year recent Med/Surg nursing experience, preferably in an acute care setting
• Strong assessment, documentation, and patient advocacy skills
• BLS certification required (additional certifications such as ACLS are a plus)
• Effective communicator who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented atmosphere
• Proficient in electronic medical records and standard nursing procedures

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct, compassionate nursing care to adult patients on the medical/surgical unit
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, develop care plans, and implement appropriate interventions
• Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and perform procedures aligned with hospital protocols
• Coordinate with physicians, allied health professionals, and support staff to optimize treatment outcomes
• Educate patients and families on health conditions, medications, and post-discharge instructions
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure quality standards are met
