Currently seeking an Advanced Surgical and Exam Room Veterinary Technician to join our back-office medical team. This is a full-time, permanent position specifically designed for a highly skilled veterinary professional with at least five years of dedicated clinical experience .

Core Responsibilities
- Surgical Master: Confidently lead anesthesia induction and comprehensive patient monitoring, with strong post-operative recovery protocols. This includes having strong knowledge of performing dental procedures. Being a self-starter.
- Operating Room Excellence: Have strong knowledge, maintain strict sterile fields, anticipate surgical needs, and assist veterinarians directly during all minor and major surgeries.
- Dynamic Room Nursing: Efficiently manage exam room workflows, execute thorough patient intakes, and record meticulous medical histories.
- Clinical Procedures: Perform precise venipuncture, place intravenous catheters, capture high-quality digital and dental radiographs, run in-house diagnostics, and prepare samples for out-of-house diagnostic labs.
- Client Education: Communicate complex medical concepts and discharge instructions to pet parents with exceptional compassion and clarity.
- Cleanliness: Able to keep things cleaned up behind oneself and keep things orderly
Candidate Requirements
- Proven Experience: Minimum of 5 years working actively as a Veterinary Technician with heavy exposure to dental, surgical, and anesthesia protocols.
- Credentials: Credentialed Veterinary Technician (CVT, RVT, or LVT) is strongly preferred, though highly experienced non-registered technicians with equivalent required skills are encouraged to apply .
- Technical Proficiencies: Flawless mastery of anesthetic monitoring equipment, dentals, surgical instrumentation, in-house IDEXX Lab Station, and digital veterinary software systems.
- Professional Attributes: A positive, team-first attitude with the sharp critical thinking skills necessary to thrive in a veterinary environment.
