Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for cath lab patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care; monitor hemodynamics during interventional procedures; manage post-procedure recovery.
- Collaborate with the interventional cardiology team; assist physicians during procedures; maintain sterile technique and equipment readiness.
- Supervise and direct activities of nursing staff across levels; mentor and coordinate care with other disciplines as needed.
- Document patient status, interventions, and outcomes; communicate changes to the care team; ensure patient safety and quality of care.
- Maintain patient comfort and education, addressing concerns and providing clear instructions for pre- and post-procedure care.

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license (California) or eligibility to practice in California
- 1+ year cath lab or interventional nursing experience preferred
- BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred
- Associate degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher from an accredited program
- Ability to work in a cath lab environment and perform 12-hour rotating shifts
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills; ability to adapt to new facility settings
