Allied Technician - Respiratory Therapist

RRT-NICU (Registered Respiratory Therapist - Neonatal/Pediatric Intensive Care Unit)

Seeking a dedicated Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our Neonatal/Pediatric Intensive Care Unit team. This position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, providing high-quality respiratory care to critically ill infants and children.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments and techniques to pediatric patients in the NICU/PICU setting.
• Monitor and assess patients' respiratory status and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to provide comprehensive care.
• Educate family members on respiratory health and necessary care procedures.

Shifts

This position requires availability for night shifts, working three 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of work experience in a relevant specialty area.
• Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications are required.
• Previous experience in a NICU or PICU setting is preferred.

Additional Information

• Staff must be available to work every other weekend and holidays.
• Please present any requests for time off at the time of submission.
• A maximum of five days off may be requested, with no block scheduling available unless specifically for weekends (Friday through Sunday).
• Travelers within 50 miles of the facility will be considered local, and local rates will apply.
