Job Summary
The Adjunct Instructor, Respiratory Therapy is a part-time, non-benefited position responsible for delivering high-quality instruction in the Health Sciences and Wellness Pathway and other related courses at the community college level. The instructor may teach a range of Respiratory Therapy courses as well as other health science courses as qualified, including but not limited to RESP courses, HLTK Courses, HOEC Courses, Strategies for Success, and others as qualified catering to students with varied academic and career goals. Responsibilities include developing, revising, and delivering course materials aligned with college standards, assessing student performance, creating and delivering competency-based instruction in a classroom environment and, on occasion, a lab / clinical environment; organizing and executing laboratory experiments, supervising students in a laboratory / clinical setting, and providing academic support to help students succeed.
Compensation: $33.39/hr. Priority Screening Date: Position is open until filled.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Associate of Applied Science degree in Respiratory Therapy
- Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist with at least 2 years in clinical respiratory care.
- Active NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist credential
- Current Wyoming license from the Wyoming State Board for Respiratory Care
- American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications
- Years of experience: Two years of experience in related field
- Two years of experience teaching either as an appointed faculty member of a Respiratory Therapy program or as an instructor/ preceptor of students in clinical programs.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution, preferably in a related field
- Two years of college-level teaching experience including teaching in a classroom or internship setting
- One year of experience with web-based learning management systems
- American Heart Association Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certification
