Anesthesia Tech II Bring your passion to Texas Health so we are Better + Together Work location: Texas Health Center for Diagnostics & Surgery, 6020 W Parker Road, Plano, TX 75093 Work hours: Full-Time (40 hours/week) – 10:30am-7:00pm Surgery Department Highlights Endoscopy and Lithotripsy procedures Responsible for preparing patients, performing procedures and recovery Fast paced and great team environment Here’s What You Need H.S. Diploma or Equivalent At least 1 Year experience (Strongly Preferred) CAT – Certified Anesthesia Tech (Upon Hire Required) And BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly (Required) What You Will Do Provides support to anesthesia providers during routine and urgent surgical cases and procedures to ensure quality patient care. Provides support to anesthesia staff with preparation of room and equipment needed for patient care. Protects patient and personal safety by following department processes, maintaining a sterile environment and understanding equipment function. Maintains supply, equipment and pharmacy inventory to optimize delivery of anesthesia services. Maintains cleanliness and proper function of anesthesia equipment and workroom. Able to support Anesthesiologist in Optime.
