RN - PCU

Travel PCU RN

This is a 13-week contract position.

Nights: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM

We are seeking a skilled Travel PCU RN who is ready to provide exceptional care in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, monitoring vital signs, and ensuring the comfort and safety of patients during their stay. The role demands strong clinical skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
• Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team
• Administer medications as prescribed and ensure accuracy in documentation
• Assist in the development and implementation of patient care plans
• Educate patients and families on health management and ongoing care

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license
• BLS, ACLS certifications
• PALS certification (may be obtained within the first 3 weeks of arrival)
• Permanent address located more than 50 miles from the facility
• Experience in PCU or similar nursing settings preferred
