$15,000 Sign-On Bonus for Day Shift with a 2-year commitment

Schedule: 3x12's, Day Shift (7a-7p). Holidays and Weekends Required.

More about our team 
\n Join our team in a 39-bed Medical Surgical unit where you will provide compassionate care to patients alongside a dedicated team of Registered Nurses (RNs), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs). With a 1:6 nurse to patient ratio, you will play a crucial role in assessing patient needs, administering treatments, and ensuring patient comfort and safety. This position offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment focused on delivering high-quality patient care.

How you'll contribute 
\n A Registered Nurse (RN) who excels in this role:

\n

-    Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs
\n -    Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions
\n -    Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient
\n -    Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record
\n -    Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient
\n -    Performs timely and accurate QI assessments

What we're looking for 
\n Applicants should have a current North Carolina or compact state Registered Nurse license and possess an associate's degree from an accredited nursing school.  Additional requirements include:
\n -    American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire.
\n -    AHA ACLS and PALS are required within six months of hire. 
\n -    One year of experience preferred
\n -    Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
