This position involves providing specialized speech therapy services within an acute care setting at a community hospital. The role offers the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population, including those with neuro, orthopedic, and cognitive impairment diagnoses. Job Details Position: Speech Language Pathologist (Inpatient) Location: Ada, Oklahoma Schedule: Day shift with weekend rotation, 8-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week Required Qualifications: Speech Language Pathologist licensure, Bachelors or Masters degree in Speech Language Pathology, minimum of 1 year of experience, CPR certification, valid state license to practice, and ability to work in the United States Additional Information: Experience in an acute rehabilitation unit setting, including swallow studies, is preferred. The role requires working with an interdisciplinary team and handling patients with neuro, ortho, debility, and cognitive impairments. Knowledge of electronic health records, including EPIC and Nethealth, is beneficial. Responsibilities include delivering inpatient speech therapy services, participating in interdisciplinary care plans, and documenting patient progress.
