Job Responsibilities The Small Engine Technician plays a crucial role in diagnosing and repairing a variety of outdoor small engine products, including chainsaws, snowblowers, lawnmowers, UTVs, and ATVs. Providing outstanding customer service is a key aspect of this position. Diagnose and repair outdoor power equipment, recreational vehicles, and other mechanical devices. Deliver exceptional service and create a positive shopping experience by assisting customers with loading and unloading products, finding parts, and addressing repair inquiries. Diagnose, assemble, and repair all small engine and outdoor power equipment available at our stores. Document repairs on work orders, monitor units in the shop, and complete and file work orders accurately. Assist with warranty claims and ensure timely filing. Communicate with customers regarding the completion dates of their repairs. Participate in training sessions and seminars for repair technicians. Adhere to Loss Prevention and safety policies and procedures. Qualifications To be considered for this position, candidates must: Be at least 18 years old. Be available to work evenings as needed and at least every other weekend. Have prior experience in small engine and/or automotive maintenance. Possess previous customer service experience.
