Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

$2611.20/week –

Job Summary:
Provide specialized emergency care as a registered nurse in a level 2 trauma center, delivering high-quality patient assessment, treatment, and documentation in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Administer emergency treatments and procedures in accordance with trauma protocols.
• Monitor patient vitals and condition, utilizing advanced equipment such as GE monitors and Lifepak systems.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Document patient care accurately using Meditech systems and maintain clear communication with staff.
• Adhere to hospital policies on patient safety, infection control, and confidentiality.
• Demonstrate positive patient interactions using AIDET and whiteboards to enhance patient experience.

Qualifications:

• Current KS RN license required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in emergency or trauma nursing within a level 2 trauma center.
• Certified in BLS and ACLS; ENPC or PALS and TNCC preferred.
• Proficient in trauma, STEMI, stroke, and sepsis care protocols.
• Strong procedural skills related to trauma center procedures.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends, with a mid-shift schedule.
