Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) | Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Location: Fort Valley, GA Pay Rate: $22/hour Position Type: Per Diem Care Setting: Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Shift Availability: 3pm-11pm, 11pm-7am Job Summary Elite Medical Staffing is hiring Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) for skilled nursing opportunities in Fort Valley, GA. Responsibilities A CNA picking up shifts through Elite Medical Staffing at a skilled nursing facility may be expected to: Utilize EMR to record patients’ medical information and vital signs Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting Provide safe transfers, repositioning, and mobility assistance using proper body mechanics Obtain and document vital signs and other resident observations as assigned Respond promptly to resident call lights and requests for assistance Report changes in resident condition, behavior, or concerns to the nursing team Assist residents with meals, hydration, and feeding when needed Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful environment while following infection control practices Support the nursing team in delivering quality resident-centered care Communicate concerns or issues to onsite supervisor and agency Other duties as assigned Qualifications Minimum 1 year of experience working under an active CNA Certification Minimum 1 year of experience working in skilled nursing High School Diploma or equivalent required Must have reliable transportation to assigned facilities Must maintain consistent attendance and punctuality Able to push, pull, and lift at least 50 pounds Able to be standing and walking with frequent bending, reaching, and lifting with proper body mechanics Must be legally authorized to work in the United States Willing to complete background and drug screening in accordance with applicable laws and regulations Credentials Required Active and unencumbered GA CNA Certification Government-Issued Photo ID or Passport CPR/BLS Tuberculosis (TB) Test Additional credentials may be required based on facility placement About Elite Medical Staffing Elite Medical Staffing is a healthcare staffing agency connecting experienced nursing and allied healthcare professionals with flexible, high‑paying opportunities.
