Working full-time, you’ll support an Exceptional Student Needs (ESN) caseload, with specifics to be discussed during the interview process.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Special Education Teaching credential in California
• Prior experience in a school setting preferred
• Familiarity with ESN populations and individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Strong communication and organizational abilities
• Commitment to promoting the academic and personal growth of every student

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized lesson plans in alignment with IEP goals
• Adapt curriculum and teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs
• Maintain accurate records and ongoing assessment of student progress
• Collaborate with general education teachers, related service professionals, and families
• Promote a positive, respectful classroom atmosphere
• Support students in building social, emotional, and academic skills
