Job TitleBusiness Operations Analyst II or Business Operations Analyst SeniorJob DescriptionConduct business process and operations analysis, needs assessments, and cost/benefits analyses in order to advance business initiatives and assist management in the decision-making process. May contribute to or lead basic to moderately complex projects for the function, Bank or System. Supports operations and assists management through analytical and technical skills to gather and assess data, make recommendations for improvements, and periodic reporting.Essential Accountabilities1. Conducts complex financial/operational analysis to ensure data accuracy and integrity and to identify trends and operational efficiency improvements. Keeps abreast of changes in policies and procedures affecting multiple areas, and monitors and reports on specific trends.2. Develops and recommends actions associated with quality, performance, and financial statistics to exceed productivity and quality objectives.3. Clearly communicates conclusions, analytical findings, reporting information and system enhancements regarding complex topics to key stakeholders.4. Represents the Bank on District, System and/or industry level work groups involving strategic issues or projects. May lead or work independently under the direction of a workgroup or subcommittee. Where appropriate, may develop overall project plans that achieve desired outcomes, comply with standards and procedures, and produce high-quality, cost-effective solutions.5. Maintains an advanced working knowledge of operations, as well as advanced level of technical expertise, to support the function. May provide technical support to internal or external customers and serve as a technical liaison between information technology, System groups and/or customers.6. Provide technical training on all analytical tools and requirements and serve as a mentor for new hires.7. Serves in a consulting role providing innovative and knowledgeable support to the function for identifying and resolving policy, operational and compliance issues. Establishes metrics required to measurePerforms other duties as assigned or requested.Adheres to the Bank's attendance policies through regular and prompt attendance.Education and ExperienceBusiness Operations Analyst II: Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of related work experience or Associate's degree with 5+ years of related work experienceBusiness Operations Analyst Senior: Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of related experienceKnowledge and SkillsAdvanced knowledge of regulations, procedures and practices related to the cash services/logistics industry.Advanced ability to lead independent researchAdvanced Project ManagementAdvanced MS Office proficiencyIntermediate Knowledge of video surveillance equipment and required views in a valuables handling environment.Intermediate knowledge of physical and logical access systemsAdvanced verbal and written communication.Advanced business acumen and analytical skillsIntermediate SQL / ad-hoc query / data warehouseIntermediate knowledge or experience with COSO/SOX compliance.
