Job Summary TNAA TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU – Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Geneva, New York. Key Details Specialty: ICU – Intensive Care Unit Discipline: RN Start Date: 03/16/2026 Duration: 14 weeks Hours per week: 36 hours Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Responsibilities Evaluate and monitor patients in an ICU setting. Document and provide physician-directed care. Assess and implement patient care plans. Delegate tasks to other care providers as appropriate. Provide education and support to patient families. Perform basic bedside care. Prepare, administer and record prescribed medication; report adverse reactions. Order and evaluate diagnostic tests; take samples for lab work, order corresponding lab work and interpret reports. Monitor and adjust specialized equipment; interpret and record electronic displays. Ensure proper placement and functioning of catheters, leads and tubing. Communicate patients' conditions to family members. Qualifications 1–2 years recent acute care experience. BLS certification; 2 years of experience listed. Additional certifications may be required before assignment. Physical capacity to stand, walk, bend, lean, stoop; lift 20 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs when necessary. Ability to work with patients who may be confused, agitated, or uncooperative.
