About the Role:
ProCare Therapy is partnering with Laveen School District to hire a qualifiedSpecial Education Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year. This position involvesserving as a Cross Categorical Behavior (CCB) Special Education Teacher atLaveen Elementary. The role focuses on supporting students with behavioral andacademic needs through specialized instruction, behavior intervention strategies,and collaboration with school staff.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide specialized instruction for students withcross-categorical and behavioral needs
Develop and implement IEP goals, accommodations, and behavior interventionplans (BIPs)
Support positive behavior strategies and classroom management techniques
Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families
Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation

Position Details:

Full-time: 37.5 hours per week
Dates: August 4, 2026 – May 28, 2027
Caseload: 6 students; Grades 4/5
Onsite position

Qualifications:

Valid Special Education Teaching Credential required
Experience with behavior intervention and classroom management strategies
Knowledge of IEP development and implementation
Prior school-based experience preferred
Strong collaboration and communication skills
