Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients' mental health conditions through virtual sessions and develop tailored treatment plans based on clinical evidence and individual needs.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records using our EHR system, documenting all interactions in compliance with HIPAA guidelines.

• Engage in crisis intervention when required, using strong analytical skills to assess situations and provide appropriate support.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our client base comprises individuals with a variety of mental health concerns, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, substance abuse disorders, and eating disorders. As a Mental Health Counselor, you will work closely with clients from diverse backgrounds, ensuring culturally sensitive approaches to therapy that respect their unique experiences and perspectives.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• A current and valid license as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Illinois.

• A minimum of four years of relevant clinical experience, preferably in a telehealth setting.

• A comprehensive understanding of various mental health disorders, evidence-based treatment modalities, and cultural competence in therapeutic practices.

• Experience conducting individual and group therapy in a remote capacity, using technology to enhance the therapeutic process.

• Strong crisis intervention skills paired with the ability to remain calm and rational in high-pressure situations.

• Proficiency with electronic health record systems and requisite technological tools.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This role offers a competitive salary range of $70,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
