Warehouse ManagerNorthStar Energy Solutions is hiring! The Warehouse Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operation of NorthStar's Transmission warehouse, including material, tools, equipment, inventory, and overall yard organization.This is a hands-on role that works closely with field leadership, project teams, purchasing, fleet, and vendors to ensure crews have what they need, when they need it. The Warehouse Manager is expected to take ownership of the facility, maintain accurate inventory and records, and keep materials and equipment moving efficiently between the warehouse and our projects.What You'll DoManage daily warehouse and yard operations, supporting operations and field crewsReceive, inspect, organize, store, and issue materials, tools, and equipmentCoordinate material and equipment needs with Superintendents, Foremen, Project Managers, and other field leadershipMaintain accurate inventory and track materials, tools, and equipment coming in and out of the warehouseCoordinate deliveries, pickups, transfers, and returns between vendors, the warehouse, and job sitesMaintain an organized warehouse and yard so materials and equipment can be quickly located and deployedMonitor inventory levels and communicate upcoming material, tool, and supply needsCoordinate with purchasing and vendors on orders, deliveries, shortages, damaged materials, and returnsVerify incoming shipments against purchase orders, packing slips, and other documentationMaintain warehouse records, equipment logs, inventory documentation, and related reportingHelp establish and maintain practical warehouse processes for receiving, storage, checkout, returns, and inventory controlTrack company-owned tools and equipment and help reduce loss, damage, and unnecessary replacementMaintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse and yardEnsure materials and equipment are stored and handled safelyIdentify issues before they impact field operations and work with the appropriate teams to resolve themSupport field and operational needs as priorities changePromote and follow all company safety policies and proceduresWhat You'll Bring Required Qualifications: 5+ years of warehouse, material management, construction, utility, logistics, or related experience preferredPrevious warehouse leadership or supervisory experience preferredExperience supporting construction or utility field operations strongly preferredWorking knowledge of inventory control, material handling, receiving, shipping, and warehouse operationsAbility to coordinate multiple material and equipment requests in a fast-paced environmentExperience working with vendors, suppliers, field crews, and operational leadershipStrong organizational skills and attention to detailComfortable using Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and other inventory or tracking systemsValid driver's license and ability to travel locally as neededForklift certification preferred or ability to obtain certification Physical Requirements: Ability to work in both warehouse and outdoor yard environmentsAbility to work outdoors in varying weather conditionsAbility to regularly stand, walk, bend, reach, and move throughout warehouse and yard areasAbility to safely lift and move materials and equipment as requiredAbility to operate or work around forklifts, trucks, trailers, and material-handling equipmentAbility to safely navigate active warehouse, yard, and job site environmentsWhat You'll GetAs a Quanta Services employee, we offer a wide range of benefits to fit your needs.401(k) with immediate matching and vestingFully comprehensive benefits packages; Medical, Dental, Vision Your choice of PPO, HSA, FSAShort term and long term benefitsEmployee discounts on consumer goodsEqual Opportunity EmployerAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment and will not be discriminated against on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin or ancestry, sex (including gender, pregnancy, sexual orientation, and/or gender identity), age, disability, genetic information, veteran status, and/or any other basis protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
