Position Summary CVS Health is looking for a Staff Software Engineer who uses their knowledge and communication skills to tackle complex problems. The role involves structural design, cost estimation, quality control, and driving strategic direction for projects. Key Responsibilities Leading and driving strategic direction for the line of business Providing technical vision and guidance for complex projects Instilling and authoring engineering best practices Collaborating with management and cross‑functional teams Mentoring and coaching junior engineers and peers Leading team discussions and cross‑team initiatives Influencing technical direction and aligning decisions with business goals Driving innovation and introducing new methods or technologies Required Qualifications 10+ years of IT experience 4+ years of professional experience with Nest.JS/REST API development 4+ years of experience working with web services 3+ years of experience with version control tools such as GIT and SVN Excellent communication skills in visual, verbal, and written form Experience with CI/CD systems such as Jenkins, CircleCI, GitHub Actions, Travis CI, etc. 2+ years of experience with AI technologies 2+ years of experience leading engineers Pay Range The typical pay range for this role is: $118,450.00 - $260,590.00 This range represents the base salary for all positions in the relevant job grade. Final offers will depend on factors such as experience, education, geography, and other relevant factors. The position may also include bonuses, commissions, short‑term incentives, and equity awards.
