About the Position

Job Title: Operating Room Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years of Operating Room RN experience Experience in Level 1 trauma centers License: Valid RN license required Certifications: BLS certification required Additional certification in EPIC preferred Must-Have: Experience in Ophthalmology and Liver Transplant required Proficient in at least 2 of the following service lines: Neuro, Ortho, or Robotics Description: Join a Level 1 Trauma Operating Room team. The facility performs a variety of surgeries, including General, Robotic, Laparoscopic, Trauma, Orthopedic, Neurosurgery, Spinal, Ophthalmology, ENT, Plastics, Burns, Urology, GYN, and Transplant. Provide care during surgical procedures. Circulate, focusing on Orthopedic, Neurosurgery, Spine, and General Surgery cases. Work closely with the surgical team. Maintain patient records in the electronic health record system. Additional Information: Call is required during the week and on weekends. Weekend coverage may be necessary based on unit needs. This position requires flexibility to float to different units within the organization as needed. A high volume of surgical procedures is performed daily. Interdisciplinary support is available within the unit. The Operating Room consists of 18 beds and focuses on a variety of surgical specialties.
