Parking AttendantThe Dignity Health Arena, Theater and Convention Center Parking Staff is the initial interaction our guests have at our facilities, and as such must provide excellent customer service and exceed our guests' expectations. The Parking Attendants are responsible for providing parking instructions/guidance/assistance to guests as they arrive. Essential functions include allowing or disallowing access into lots, providing guests with directions and other venue information, acting upon all comments/complaints in a prompt and friendly manner, keeping parking areas clean and orderly to ensure space usage is maximized, directing motorists to parking areas or spaces, patrolling parking areas to prevent vehicle damage and theft, calculating parking charges, collecting fees from customers, lifting, positioning, and removing barricades to open or close parking areas, and escorting customers to their vehicles to ensure their safety.Required qualifications include training will be provided. High school diploma or G.E.D. This position may require lifting of approximately 25 to 50 pounds, climbing, carrying, bending, stooping, and kneeling. This position is routinely required to work outdoors and is exposed to the elements heat, rain, etc... Noise level for this position is moderate. Activities occur both inside and outside the Dignity Health Arena, Theater and Convention Center; some seasonal heat. Ability to work flexible hours in addition to normal business hours as dictated by events. Must be proactive in providing assistance. Must be able to work in a team environment and interact with multiple departments.
