Company: Kodak Location: Rochester, NY, US, 14652 Date Posted: May 8, 2026 Role Overview We are looking for a Pipefitter to join our Advanced Materials & Chemicals department in Rochester, NY. Responsibilities Provide multi‑discipline capability to repair, maintain, install and improve chemical processing equipment and building services, including process piping, building service piping, pneumatics, and hydraulics. Work with a variety of materials and piping system components (stainless steel, steel, glass‑lined, plastic, copper, fibercast, etc.). Achieve a high level of process expertise to troubleshoot and repair equipment, including root‑cause analysis. Maintain steam traps, specialized valves, filtration systems, steam ejectors, and other specialized equipment. Execute preventive and predictive maintenance programs. Have working knowledge of Microsoft Office and maintenance software tools. Display flexibility to change priorities as required. Possess experience or expertise in mechanical, HVAC equipment, and process controls (a plus). Hold a welding certification (a plus). Requirements Dependable with good attendance. Maintain a clean work area and operate safely at all times. Demonstrate effective analytical troubleshooting skills. Be able to read pipe and machine drawings. Understand piping codes for hazardous environments (flammable liquids). Work effectively with minimal supervision. Maintain an excellent safety record, placing safety and environment as top priority. Know Lock Out / Tag Out procedures. Have good communication skills; communicate daily with leaders, maintenance planners, technical staff, engineering, and operations as needed. Be a team player, willing to be flexible and work in other areas and trades to support the maintenance team. Ability to walk, climb stairs, and use other mobility means. Reach, bend, stoop, push and/or pull; lift up to 30 pounds and occasionally lift/move 40 pounds. Work off ladders or scaffolding and in awkward positions. Perform indoor and outdoor work assignments. Wear protective clothing and/or personal protective equipment required by the work environment or governmental regulations. Qualifications Graduate of an apprentice program or equivalent demonstrated skill level. High school diploma. Work hours: Monday – Friday, 8‑hour days (40 hours/week). Willing to work some overtime as needed to support production. Employment Details Estimated Salary: $32.00 - $40.00 per hour. Experience Level: 5-10 years.
