Whirlwind Steel is a premier metal building manufacturer specializing in the design, fabrication, and delivery of top-quality metal structures. The Brand Promise Clerk is responsible for maintaining communication between shipping/loading, and manufacturing teams. The BPC will emphasize our "no headaches" promise to our customers.
Maintain effective communication with various departments on load/material status.
Proactively address any material or delay issues with sales teams.
Resolve problems regarding load completion, driver delays, material delays, etc.
Coordinate load pick up times with transportation and shipping.
Provide thorough status updates to sales teams and customers as requested.
Must be able to work 11am to 9:30pm and available on Saturday and Sunday as needed.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in a shipping or manufacturing environment preferred.
Sales and customer service experience a plus.
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and work well under pressure.
Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication skills.
Proficient computer skills.
Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
