Marketing AssociateThe Marketing Associate supports the Marketing & Community Relations Manager in executing high-impact marketing initiatives across social media, digital advertising, content creation, and guest engagement. This position plays a key role in producing consistent, high-quality content that strengthens brand visibility for Kawanti Adventures, Taquan Air, and associated visitor venues. The Marketing Associate collaborates closely with operations teams to capture real-time activities and translate them into engaging content that drives bookings, brand awareness, and community connection.Capture and produce photo/video content of tours, guides, wildlife, guests, and on-site activities.Write engaging captions and maintain a unified brand voice across all platforms.Maintain and update the content calendar; ensure consistent posting across brands.Monitor comments, messages, and community engagement; escalate issues when needed.Track social media analytics and collaborate with the Marketing Manager to adjust strategy.Assist with email and SMS marketing by organizing customer data and segmenting audiences.Support digital ad campaigns by preparing creative assets, copy, and basic performance reporting.Collect and organize guest feedback, reviews, and tour quality metrics to help refine marketing strategy.Follow brand guidelines when creating digital graphics, print materials, signage, and promotional items.Assist with coordination and execution of promotional events (Customer Appreciation, Founders Day, KVB After Hours, July 4th, etc.)Support recruiting efforts, trade shows, and community events as needed.Assist with photography, videography, editing, and asset organization.Help maintain consistency across websites, booking platforms, and partner listings.Provide administrative support to the Marketing Manager for ongoing projects and seasonal initiatives.Other Duties as Assigned:Take on additional responsibilities to support the success of the organization and uphold company values and strategic goals.Core Competencies:Alignment with company values: Safety, Respect, Quality, Excellence.Produces engaging photo, video, and written content that reflects brand standards.Confidently uses social platforms, analytics tools, and digital marketing systems.Works effectively with operations, sales, and leadership teams.Adjusts quickly to changing priorities, guest flow, and seasonal demands.Communicates clearly and respectfully with guests, staff, and partners.Success in This Role Looks Like:Demonstrates alignment with company values through leadership behaviors and decision-making.High-quality photo, video, and written content is produced regularly and strengthens brand visibility.Posting schedules are met, engagement is monitored, and analytics inform strategy adjustments.Marketing efforts align with operations, sales, and leadership needs throughout the season.Adapts quickly to guest flow, weather, operational changes, and shifting priorities.100% compliance with internal safety policies and DOT regulations.Requisite Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:Effectively interact and communicate with peers, managers, and other department employees.Independently manage work and schedule to meet all deadlines and expectations.Skilled problem-solving and ability to identify solutions and execute standard processes.Work effectively in a team environment with diverse personalities and requirements.Reliable and timely attendance; flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, or weekends when workloads require.Recognize opportunities to contribute and collaborate with other areas when workloads are light.Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and systems such as Canva, Buffer, Flowcode, and Mailchimp.Conduct oneself with the highest level of integrity and confidentiality.Physical Demands and Requirements:Mobility across the site.Ability to handle stress and pressure created by simultaneous demands.Ability to work on-site, indoors and outdoors, with exposure to noise, heat and cold.Ability to frequently work at a fast pace with unscheduled interruptions.Ability to work with members of the public, requiring appropriate appearance and attire.ADA: The employer will make reasonable accommodations in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990.Experience/Education Requirements:No felony convictions or criminal convictions that would interfere with job responsibilities.Minimum 18 years old.Disclaimer :The knowledge, skills and abilities listed above are typically acquired through the levels of education and experience listed.
