Medical Assistant – Neurological & Brain-Based Therapy

Brain & Spine Wellness Center | Full Time or Part-Time 

Are you a Medical Assistant, EMT, personal trainer, or healthcare support professional who wants to work beyond routine vitals and paperwork? At Brain & Spine Wellness Center, we specialize in functional neurology, chiropractic care, and neurorehabilitation for patients with complex neurological and musculoskeletal conditions who travel to see us from all over the country.

On the job training provided and previous health care experience is not required.

Day-to-day you will function as a hands-on neurological therapy team member, supporting advanced diagnostics and guiding patients through brain-based rehabilitation under direct doctor supervision.

Responsibilities

• Take and accurately record vital signs
• Perform and assist with neurological diagnostics, including videooculography (VOG) and balance/postural stability testing
• Guide patients through neurologically focused therapies under doctor supervision, including vestibular rehab, eye-tracking, and neuromuscular re-education
• Monitor patient responses during therapy and diagnostics and report observations to the doctor
• Prepare, clean, sanitize, and reset therapy rooms and diagnostic areas
• Maintain organization, cleanliness, and readiness of therapy and diagnostic equipment
• Ensure supplies are stocked and therapy stations remain efficient throughout the day
• Collaborate with doctors and team members to deliver a professional, high-quality patient experience
• Administrative tasks during the down time (check patients in/out, process payments, scheduling)

Our team works in an elite clinical environment focused on precision vestibular assessment, advanced brain-based rehabilitation, and neurological care typically reserved for specialty or research centers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong communication and patient interaction skills
• Comfort with medical technology and diagnostics
• Ability to follow clinical protocols accurately and consistently
• Professional, reliable, and punctual with strong attention to detail
• Physically able to stand, move, and assist patients throughout the day
• Genuine interest in neurology, rehabilitation, and cutting-edge healthcare

Hours Needed

Full Time (end times vary):

• Monday 7:45am -5:30pm, with one hour break
• Tuesday 7:45am-4:45pm, with one hour break
• Wednesday 7:45am-5:30pm, with one hour break
• Thursday 7:45am-5:00pm, with one hour break
• Friday 8:15am-3:30pm, with one hour break

Part Time: Three days per week (20-25 per hours as end times vary). Two schedule options:

Schedule 1

• Monday 7:45am -5:30pm, with one hour break
• Tuesday 7:45am-4:45pm, with one hour break
• Wednesday 7:45am-5:30pm, with one hour break

Schedule 2

• Wednesday 7:45am-5:30pm, with one hour break
• Thursday 7:45am-5:00pm, with one hour break
• Friday 8:15am-3:30pm, with one hour break
