Contract | Days (5x8 Hours, 6:00–14:30) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a cardiovascular operating room (CVOR) setting within an acute care hospital
• Participate in on-call rotations as required, including weekday and weekend call shifts
• Accurately document patient care activities using Epic EMR
• Float between facilities within the state as needed based on operational demands
• Adhere to department protocols, scrub standards, and compliance requirements throughout the assignment

Required Qualifications

• Active, unencumbered California RN license (must be in hand prior to start; no pending licenses accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of CVOR experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification
• LA fire card obtained within the last 30 days
• Ability to fulfill on-call requirements: 2 primary and 2 secondary weekday calls (2230–0600) per 6-week cycle, plus 2 primary and 2 secondary weekend calls (12-hour shifts, 0630–1900 or 1830–0600)
• Must commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience charting in Epic EMR
• Prior travel nursing experience in a CVOR or surgical specialty setting
• Flexibility to accommodate varying call schedules based on department needs
