Accounts Receivable Specialist Details:
- Temp-to-Hire position
- $29.00 / hour
- Full Time work available
- First Shift ( Sunday through Thursday from 08:00am to 05:00pm )
- Manage daily accounts receivable, billing, invoicing, and payment applications.
- Research and resolve billing discrepancies, account issues, and customer disputes.
- Prepare and maintain billing for direct shipments, freight, and non-stock credits.
- Reconcile cashbox activity and assist with journal entries and account tie-outs.
- Communicate with customers and internal Sales teams regarding invoices, payments, and account balances.
- Utilize advanced Excel skills to analyze data and support accounting and A/R functions.
Accounts Receivable Specialist Qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable or a related accounting role.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, journal entries, and account reconciliation.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, spreadsheets, and data analysis.
- Experience with billing, invoicing, payment application, account research, and resolving discrepancies.
- Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.
- Sales/use tax, payroll tax, or other business tax experience preferred; high school diploma required, accounting education preferred.
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
