Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations for adult inpatients on the rehab unit and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Implement evidence-based interventions to maximize independence in activities of daily living and safety with functional tasks.
- Monitor progress, reassess goals, and modify treatment plans as needed; document outcomes in the Meditech EMR.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team (nursing, physicians, physical therapy, social work) to support discharge planning and transitions of care.
- Educate patients and families on activities, exercise programs, energy conservation, and assistive devices to facilitate safe self-care after discharge.

Requirements
- Current, active Occupational Therapy license (state not specified)
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of inpatient rehabilitation experience
- First-time travel therapist(s) with inpatient experience may be considered
- EMR experience: Meditech required or preferred; Cerner experience is a plus
- RTO (time-off) requests must be included at the time of submission
