Step into a dynamic school-based setting as a Physical Therapist in a contract position, supporting student growth and development across multiple campuses in the Tavares, FL area. The district is searching for either one full-time or two to three part-time professionals to collaborate with another PT and PTA, serving students from kindergarten through 12th grade—including some Pre-K learners. You'll be based onsite and will provide both direct and indirect therapy services, ensuring every student receives the specialized support they need. Interviews are actively underway as of 7/21, so timely application is encouraged.

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Active and valid Florida Physical Therapist license required
• Experience in school-based settings is strongly preferred, though not mandatory
• Ability to manage a diverse, itinerant caseload (94 students will be divided among therapists)
• Strong communication and organizational skills for collaboration with school staff, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Flexible scheduling mindset to accommodate both full-time and part-time needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver physical therapy services to K-12 (and some Pre-K) students across various schools—typically 2 or 3 campuses per day
• Assess, plan, and implement individualized student therapy plans based on IEP goals
• Document all direct and indirect services in accordance with district and compliance standards
• Consult and collaborate with educators, families, and other related service providers
• Travel between assigned school locations as required, adapting to diverse learning environments
