Senior Accounting Consultant

We are seeking a precise and proactive Interim Senior Accountant to join our team for a defined 3-4 month engagement in a manufacturing environment. This role is critical in maintaining the integrity of our financial operations during a transition. The ideal candidate is an experienced Senior Accountant who can hit the ground running with minimal oversight. Key Responsibilities Month-End Close: Lead and execute the monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes, including journal entry preparation and account reconciliations. Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with US GAAP. Audit Support: Serve as a key point of contact for external auditors, providing necessary documentation and schedules. Analysis: Perform variance analysis (budget vs. actual) to provide insights into departmental performance. Required Qualifications Experience: 5+ years of progressive accounting experience; previous experience in an interim or consultative capacity is a plus. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. CPA preferred. Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, Macros).
