Food and Beverage Runner

Position Details POSITION: Runner DEPARTMENT: Food & Beverage REPORTS TO: Premium or Concessions Manager FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt Hourly THE ROLE The Concession Runner is responsible for working with cashiers and kitchen staff in concession stands to deliver food and beverage orders from stand to guests at all games and other events. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Provides friendly, courteous customer service. Ensures timely setup and delivery of all suite food and beverage orders. Delivers and assists in the placement of all event day food and beverage suite orders with the Suite Pantry and ensures timely delivery of such items. Assists with the breakdown of food items and service equipment in the suites and other catering areas after the event. Assists with the logging of all suites’ beverage stock in the appropriate logbooks after each event. Collects cardboard and trash at the end of each event. Assists with any pre-stocking for the suites. Assists with the setup in any aspect of the catering space as directed by management. Follows all event-service directions as directed in the pre-function meeting. Breaks down any aspect of the catering space as directed by management. Qualifications Education and/or Experience Must have a High School Diploma or GED. At least 6 months of food running preferred. Ability to complete required pre-employment food and alcohol service training if needed (TIP's, Servsafe certification). Skills and Abilities Excellent customer service skills. Positive attitude. Knowledge of catering equipment, services, and terminology (may possess). Ability to take and follow direction, sometimes working independently. Attention to detail. Reading, writing, and verbal communication skills. May perform other duties as assigned.
