Work Environment

You will thrive in a collaborative and supportive environment that emphasizes teamwork and patient-centered care. Our clinic operates Monday through Friday, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with occasional flexibility to accommodate patient scheduling needs and ensure optimum care delivery. Our team comprises Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Speech-Language Pathologists, and support staff, all working together to create a seamless experience for our patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist Physical Therapists in delivering individualized treatment plans designed to enhance patient mobility and overall functionality.
• Guide patients through therapeutic exercises, stretching activities, and pain relief techniques, ensuring proper form and motivation.
• Educate patients on body mechanics and effective exercise techniques, including the creation of tailored home exercise programs to facilitate recovery.
• Administer therapeutic modalities, including electrical stimulation, ultrasound, and heat/cold therapy, under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, tracking key metrics such as range of motion improvements, strength gains, and functional milestones.
• Prepare treatment areas effectively, ensuring that all necessary equipment and supplies are organized and readily available for therapy sessions.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to coordinate and enhance overall patient care outcomes.
• Provide emotional and motivational support to patients, fostering an encouraging environment throughout their rehabilitation journey.
• Maintain ethical standards, ensuring confidentiality for all patients while treating them with respect and dignity.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of an Associate's Degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Current and valid state licensure or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
• Comprehensive understanding of anatomy, physiology, and effective therapeutic techniques relevant to physical therapy.
• Strong interpersonal skills to effectively engage with patients and collaborate with fellow healthcare professionals.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills, allowing efficient management of treatment plans and patient records.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working in a similar therapeutic setting, particularly within a hospital environment.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 50,000 to 65,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
