We are seeking a highly organized, detail-driven Staff Accountant to join our expanding accounting team. In this role, you will manage accurate financial records, prepare timely financial reports, and support compliance with all applicable accounting standards and regulations. Your day to day and essential functions include maintaining and reconciling general ledger accounts, preparing monthly financial statements and supporting reports, assisting in the development of annual budgets and financial forecasts, performing account reconciliations and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner, processing accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately, assisting with payroll processing and related reporting requirements, ensuring compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and company policies, supporting internal and external audit activities by providing required documentation, assisting with tax preparation and related filings as needed, and performing additional accounting duties and projects as assigned.

What you need to succeed includes a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field preferred, 2+ years of accounting experience; healthcare industry experience is a plus, strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards, proficiency with accounting software and the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook), excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, high attention to detail with the ability to meet deadlines, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

The ideal candidate must be able to view computer screens for long durations and work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative office setting. For patient carerelated roles, the position may also require standing for long periods and the ability to lift or assist patients, medical equipment, or supplies generally up to 2550 pounds, as needed to support safe and effective care.
