Housekeeper

Position Summary: The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining clean, attractive, and comfortable guest rooms and public areas while providing excellent guest service in accordance with Marriott Courtyard brand standards. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Clean and service guest rooms daily including: Making beds Changing linens Dusting furniture Vacuuming floors and hallways Cleaning bathrooms Replenishing towels and guest amenities Remove trash and dirty linens from guest rooms and housekeeping carts Ensure all rooms meet Marriott cleanliness and presentation standards Report maintenance issues, damages, or safety concerns to management Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests Maintain organized housekeeping carts and storage areas Follow all hotel safety, sanitation, and security procedures Assist with laundry duties or public area cleaning when needed Work efficiently to meet daily productivity goals Qualifications: Previous housekeeping or hotel experience preferred but not required Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong attention to detail Good customer service and communication skills Ability to lift, bend, push, pull, and stand for extended periods Must be dependable, punctual, and professional Work Environment: Fast-paced hotel environment Requires weekends and holiday availability Physical work involving frequent lifting, bending, and walking Benefits May Include: Marriott hotel discounts Paid time off Health and dental insurance Flexible scheduling #J-18808-Ljbffr Ontario Trillium Foundation
