Principal Electrical Engineer - Permanent - Greater BostonWant to play a pivotal role in shaping complex electronic systems while guiding and developing a high-performing engineering team?Proclinical is working with an innovative technology company to recruit for a Principal Electrical Engineer to join its engineering team. This is a senior, hands-on position that combines technical leadership with the opportunity to mentor and guide a small team of engineers.Primary Responsibilities:The successful candidate will play a key role in the development of advanced electronic and embedded systems, working across the full product development lifecycle from concept through delivery.Skills & Requirements:7+ years of electrical engineering experienceStrong background in embedded systems and electronics designPCB design experience, preferably using AltiumStrong understanding of digital and analog circuit designExperience with microcontrollers and embedded hardware platformsFamiliarity with communication protocols such as SPI, I2C, UART, CAN, and EthernetStrong troubleshooting and debugging skillsExperience working within structured engineering and documentation processesStrong communication and stakeholder management skillsComfortable engaging directly with clients and external partnersThe Principal Electrical Engineer's responsibilities will be:Design and develop embedded electronic systemsCreate hardware schematics and support PCB design activitiesDefine system and hardware architectures for new productsCollaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teamsLead technical projects from concept to deliveryConduct design reviews, testing, and validation activitiesWork with suppliers and manufacturing partnersSupport customer-facing technical discussions when requiredMentor junior engineers and provide technical guidanceContribute to engineering best practices and process improvementCompensation: $150,000 to $170,000 per annum.If you are having difficulty in applying or if you have any questions, please contact Christian Andersen at you are interested in applying to this exciting opportunity, then please click 'Apply' or to speak to one of our specialists please request a call back at the top of this page.Proclinical is a leading life sciences recruiter focused on finding exceptional people and matching them with the finest positions across the globe.
