Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Respiratory Therapist to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive respiratory care including aerosol therapy, chest physiotherapy, and airway management.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
• Perform diagnostic respiratory evaluations and administer therapeutic interventions as directed.
• Maintain accurate and timely charting in the EPIC system.
• Participate in holiday and weekend rotations, including charge role responsibilities as needed.
• Ensure compliance with all SSM Health respiratory care protocols and shaving requirements for fit testing.

Qualifications

• RRT or CRT certification required; Missouri state license required.
• Certification in BLS and ACLS; NRP preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in adult critical care and emergency department settings.
• Experience with community hospitals and neonatal, pediatric care preferred.
• Proficiency in EPIC charting system required.
• Comfortable with high-flow nasal cannula therapy and non-invasive ventilation techniques.
