We are seeking a highly skilled Database Administrator (DBA) to manage, maintain, secure, and optimize enterprise database environments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring database availability, performance, integrity, and security while supporting business-critical applications. The DBA will collaborate with development, infrastructure, and support teams to implement database solutions and resolve performance issues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain database management systems.
• Monitor database performance and optimize queries, indexes, and database structures.
• Perform database backup, recovery, and disaster recovery planning.
• Ensure database security, user access controls, and compliance with organizational policies.
• Troubleshoot database-related issues and provide timely resolutions.
• Implement and maintain high availability and replication solutions.
• Perform database capacity planning and storage management.
• Support application deployment activities and database migrations.
• Create and maintain database documentation, standards, and procedures.
• Collaborate with development teams to review database designs and optimize application performance.

• Linux and Windows Server Administration

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Database Management, or a related field.
• Relevant database certifications are preferred: Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate Oracle Database Administrator Certification AWS Certified Database – Specialty PostgreSQL Professional Certification
• 3–7 years of experience in database administration and support.
• Hands-on experience managing production database environments.
• Experience with database migrations, upgrades, and performance optimization.
• Familiarity with Agile and DevOps practices is preferred.
