Desktop Support Technician

Desktop Support TechnicianOur employee relationship managers support you throughout your engagement, providing career guidance and reemployment assistance. Our client is currently seeking a qualified Desktop Support Technician to join their team onsite in Jacksonville, FL and provide end-user support. This is a 3 month contract with possibility of extensions. The working hours will be 6AM to 3:30PM. Duties and responsibilities include:Providing desktop support for onsite users to include executive level supportTroubleshooting and resolving hardware, software, network, and peripheral issuesDevice and user management through MS IntuneTroubleshooting Windows 11 OS, Office 365, MS Authentication and mobile issuesPerforming setup and provisioning of equipment to business usersManaging Team Service Now Ticket queue (Meeting Ticket SLAs)Driving issue to resolution through engagement/escalation to other support teams (when required)Skills and qualifications:Minimum 2 to 5+ years of related desktop experience, both deskside and remoteWindows 11 OS experience requiredExcellent customer service and interpersonal skillsExperience working with a ticketing system (ServiceNow / Remedy / ConnectWise)Microsoft Intune experience desiredMust have a valid drivers license, clean MVR, and reliable transportationMust have the ability to travel to other locations as neededWage Range: The rate for this position is between $22.50 - $30.00 per hour, unless local minimum wage is higher. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
