Job Requisition: MEDIC001843 Employment Type: Per-Diem Shift: Rotating Hours Per Week: As scheduled Hiring range: $19.38-$25.20/ hourly Below are the shift differentials based on eligible shifts worked:- Weekday evening shift - additional 10%
- Weekday night shift - additional 15%
- Weekend day shift - additional 10%
- Weekend evening & night shifts - additional 21%
- May draw and collect blood samples according to policy. Receive, centrifuge, accession, process and transport specimens. Verifies all related records.
- Works pending lists, orders add-on tests, and resolves duplicate orders.
- Sets up instruments. Maintains, cleans, and sterilizes equipment and work area following safety, cleanliness, and infection control procedures.
- Performs clerical duties which may include answering phones, reviewing EKGs, collecting patient demographic data for patient registration, ordering tests, ABNs, data entry and filing.
- Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of three (3) years phlebotomy experience preferred.

- Ability to organize and establish day-to-day priorities while using critical thinking skills in all aspects of the job.
