Nature’s Path Montessori – Seeking Caring Educators for August Start

Nature’s Path Montessori is a vibrant community of nature-loving educators dedicated to providing a unique blend of indoor and outdoor learning experiences. We’re looking for caring, curious, and experienced individuals to join our team in August.

• Indoor Assistant
• Woodland Guide

• We offer a mixed-age Montessori environment where children explore, build independence, and connect with nature in a safe and engaging woodland space.
• Our program emphasizes respect for children, nature, and the classroom community.

• Support children’s growth and learning in a beautiful, orderly indoor and outdoor environment.
• Model respect for children and the classroom community while maintaining a calm and warm presence.
• Collaborate with fellow guides to create a safe and engaging learning space.

• Positions begin: Early August (exact start date to be confirmed)
• Salary: To be discussed , based on training and experience.

• Support the lead guide in maintaining a safe and engaging learning environment.
• Assist children with daily routines, including toileting and self-care.
• Clean and maintain the classroom environment to ensure a beautiful and orderly space.
• Support children in transitions between activities and help with snacks and mealtimes.
• Encourage independence and respectful behavior in children.
• Provide a nurturing and safe environment for all children.
• Supervise and engage with children on the playground.

• Education:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience:
• At least 1–2 years of professional childcare or classroom experience
• Experience with Montessori philosophy is a plus
• Certifications and Documentation
• CPR and First Aid certification
• Fingerprint Clearance Card

• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
• Ability to work well with others and as part of a team
• Good classroom management and organizational skills
• Observant, patient, and nurturing demeanor
• Ability to follow directions, accept coaching, and be flexible in a dynamic environment
• Commitment to upholding Montessori philosophy, including respect for children’s independence and development
• Basic computer skills may be required for record-keeping and communication

• A willingness to complete Montessori-specific training, such as an orientation or assistant certificate course
• A genuine passion for supporting children’s growth and learning in a Montessori environment is essential
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
