business analysis manager, North America Finance

As a business analysis manager on the North America Finance Team, you will play a critical role overseeing planning and analysis for US Company-Operated Coffeehouses. The team leads end‑to‑end planning cycles—annual, quarterly, and monthly—partnering with budget owners and finance teams to transform financial data into insights that support strategic decisions across Finance and Operations. You will also manage planning and analysis for US Wages & Benefits, Regional Overhead, and other Operating Expenses. Key Responsibilities Drive business insights: Develop and refine financial models, forecasts, and analyses that influence strategic and operational decisions. Provide insights and recommendations: Translate complex financial data into clear, concise insights for leadership and cross‑functional partners. Partner cross‑functionally: Work closely with leaders and teams across Finance and Operations to validate assumptions, identify risks, and drive accountability. Own planning and forecasting: Play a key role in planning processes, ensuring alignment across teams and delivering accurate forecasts. Identify improvement opportunities: Continuously improve planning and reporting processes through automation, standardization, and best practices. Contribute to a high‑performing team while driving improvements in the business. Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or professional certification (CPA/CFA) preferred. 5+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or business analysis. Advanced skills in Excel and familiarity with financial systems such as Anaplan or Oracle; willingness to learn new tools. Ability to interpret and analyze financial statements and operational metrics. Proven critical thinking, analytical, and problem‑solving skills; ability to identify trends, risks, and opportunities. Excellent business‑partnering and communication skills; ability to influence stakeholders and present complex financial insights clearly. Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines while partnering across teams. Desired Experience Progressive experience in complex financial analysis, modeling, budgeting, and business planning—minimum 7 years. Support and influence decision making through month‑end, forecast, annual budget, and strategic planning processes—minimum 7 years. Making recommendations to and influencing decision makers—minimum 5 years. Leading cross‑functional teams—minimum 5 years. Project management experience—minimum 5 years.
