Forklift Operator

Wood Personnel Services is seeking experienced Forklift Operators for leading manufacturing and distribution facilities in Murfreesboro and the surrounding area including Rutherford, Davidson and Wilson Counties. We are looking for dependable operators who take pride in working safely, efficiently, and accurately. Forklift Operator Shift and Compensation: $22 per hour 1st, 2nd, 3rd and weekend shifts Shift and pay may vary depending on the client assignment Forklift Operator Duties and Responsibilities: Operating sit-down, stand-up, reach truck, cherry picker, order picker or electric pallet jack equipment (depending on assignment) Loading and unloading trucks safely and efficiently Moving materials throughout the warehouse Picking and staging orders Receiving and storing inventory Supplying production or shipping areas with materials Performing routine equipment inspections before each shift Following all OSHA and company safety guidelines Maintaining a clean and organized work area Assisting with general warehouse duties as needed Forklift Operator Skills and Qualifications: At least 6 months of forklift experience within the past 3 years Must provide verifiable work reference confirming forklift experience Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift Reliable transportation and dependable attendance Strong attention to detail Ability to work safely in a fast-paced warehouse environment Preferred Equipment Experience: Experience operating any of the following equipment is a plus: Sit-Down Forklift Stand-Up Forklift Reach Truck Cherry Picker Order Picker Electric Pallet Jack Clamp Truck Benefits Offered By Wood Personnel: Weekly Pay Direct Deposit or Payroll Card Paid Vacation Paid Holidays Referral Bonus Performance Bonus Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance #J-18808-Ljbffr
