IT Project Manager (Infrastructure)

Job Description

Overview
We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead and deliver infrastructure-focused projects across the organization. This role is responsible for managing the full project lifecycle, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business and technical objectives.


The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in project management practices, holds a PMP certification, and brings hands-on experience working with enterprise IT infrastructure environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of IT infrastructure projects from initiation through closure
• Define project scope, objectives, timelines, and deliverables in alignment with business goals
• Develop and manage detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocations
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including infrastructure, network, security, and operations
• Drive project governance, including status reporting, risk management, and issue resolution
• Manage dependencies across multiple teams and workstreams
• Ensure adherence to established project management methodologies and standards
• Facilitate project meetings, including kickoffs, status updates, and executive reviews
• Identify and mitigate risks and proactively resolve project issues
• Track and report on key performance indicators, milestones, and overall project health
• Ensure proper documentation of project artifacts, processes, and deliverables
• Support change management and communication efforts to ensure successful adoption

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, or related field
• PMP (Project Management Professional) certification required
• 5+ years of experience managing IT projects, with a focus on infrastructure
• Proven experience delivering projects in enterprise IT environments
• Strong understanding of IT infrastructure (servers, networking, cloud, data centers)
• Experience with project management tools (e.g., Jira, MS Project, Smartsheet, ServiceNow)
• Excellent communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)
• Familiarity with ITIL processes and IT service management frameworks
• Experience working in Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery environments
• Exposure to security and compliance-related projects
