Position Overview

The Resource Float Pool is a skilled team that provides critical support across two campuses in Tucson, AZ. This diverse team is essential in delivering care wherever it is most needed, ensuring patient needs are met efficiently and effectively.

Campus Details

Our two campuses include:

• BUMC-Tucson: A 600+ bed Level I Trauma center with approximately 16 Adult Health units catering to patients ranging from Observation to Intermediate Care (IMC).
• BUMC-South: A 200+ bed Level III Trauma center conveniently located about a 10-minute drive from BUMC-Tucson, featuring 4-5 Adult Health units that adjust based on seasonal demands.

Job Responsibilities

• Float to various Adult Health units within both campuses, including expanded spaces in Emergency Departments (EDs) and Post Anesthesia Care Units (PACU).
• Provide care to Adult Health patients with inpatient orders while awaiting unit bed availability.
• Adapt quickly to different clinical environments and patient needs across both campuses.

Qualifications

• Previous travel experience is required.
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment and maintain flexibility in assignments.

Shift Details

This position is a full-time, 2nd shift role with a 12-hour schedule.
