Civil Engineer

Civil Engineer (PE or EIT) – Land/Site Development Projects Location: USA (Hybrid Position) Role Description Arcadis seeks a Project Civil Engineer to join our Design & Engineering team within the North America Places group. In this hybrid role, you will work on dynamic and complex civil development projects including hospitals, airports, residential neighborhoods, shopping centers, and educational campuses. You will bring strong technical skills, a collaborative mindset, and a passion for innovative solutions. Accountabilities Prepare site development plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D or similar software Design grading, drainage, stormwater systems, and utility layouts Conduct site investigations and feasibility studies Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations Coordinate with architects, contractors, and regulatory agencies Prepare cost estimates, schedules, and project documentation Qualifications & Experience 3 or more years working in land development or site civil projects Detailed knowledge of relevant national/state standards and codes of practice Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (required) EIT or PE certification preferred Proficiency in Civil 3D, stormwater modeling, and related tools Strong knowledge of zoning, permitting, and regulatory processes Excellent communication and project management skills Commitment to health and safety Benefits Arcadis offers benefits for full‑time and part‑time positions including medical, dental, vision, EAP, 401K, STD, LTD, AD&D, life insurance, paid parental leave, reward & recognition program, and optional benefits such as wellbeing benefits, adoption assistance, tuition reimbursement. Salary range: $68,187 to $112,000 (actual salaries vary based on experience, education, budget, internal equity, project and location).
