HACCP Supervisor

Our client, a leading organization in the food production industry, is seeking a HACCP Supervisor to join their team. As a HACCP Supervisor, you will be part of the Food Safety and Quality Assurance department supporting the plant operations team. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to continuous improvement, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: HACCP Supervisor Location: Columbus, Ohio Pay Range: $85,000 - $100,000 What’s the Job? Implement and oversee Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) Plans, Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOP), and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). Maintain and monitor the food safety system, ensuring continuous improvements in product quality and safety. Coordinate with USDA inspectors, address compliance issues, and ensure adherence to USDA regulations. Lead and facilitate food safety audits, including GFSI (BRC) and customer standards. Manage positive E. coli events, documentation, and communication with stakeholders, including plant operations and corporate FSQA teams. What’s Needed? Bachelor’s degree in food science, microbiology, or a related field, or 5 years of experience in quality assurance and food safety leadership. HACCP certification and experience with GFSI standards (BRC preferred). Knowledge of USDA, HACCP, food safety, and sanitation principles. Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications.
