Library Director

LIBRARY DIRECTOR The Town of Monmouth is seeking an experienced library professional to serve as Director of the Cumston Public Library, a vibrant, rural, municipal library. The position of Director requires experience with administrative practices; proficiency with technology; experience with budget and strategic planning; the ability to plan and coordinate the work of others and to work well with public officials and community organizations. Enthusiasm, flexibility, self‑motivation, and a commitment to public service are essential. Working under the guidance of the Board of Trustees and the Town Manager, you will play a vital role in maintaining our professional yet warm and welcoming community space. Applicants must be able to demonstrate communication skills, good judgment and good humor under varying circumstances. The ability to multi-task and provide quality customer service is essential. Must be a community‑oriented, hands‑on team player. Must enjoy working with patrons of all ages. This is a full-time, benefited position.
