Qualifications and Skills:

• Valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license required
• Previous experience in a school-based setting is highly preferred
• Strong assessment, intervention, and documentation abilities
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Capable of working independently and collaboratively within multi-disciplinary teams
• Passion for empowering children and fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment

Core Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
• Deliver direct therapy services to students per individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop and implement effective support strategies
• Track student progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings
• Provide consultation and training to staff as needed
• Stay current on best practices and legal requirements for school-based therapy
