Finance Transformation ManagerAs a Finance Transformation Manager, you'll be responsible for business process analysis, requirements definition efforts for remediating gaps, cost and cycle time analysis/remediation, and the communication and change management required to ensure the success of our clients – all with the resources, environment, and support to help you excel.From day one, you'll collaborate with our Transformation Practice to help clients transform their finance and operations functions, both process-related and reporting, as well as design and implement sustainable models that streamline operations, and comply to business needs. This role looks beyond just control points and focuses on Finance Process Optimization changes that achieve necessary business transformation.Your day-to-day may include:Develop client-focused solutions based on understanding strategy, operations, and management in several functional areas of corporations and organizationsPerform engagement management responsibilities, including performance reviews, task delegation, project scheduling, project financials, quality review and client managementUtilize previous consulting and industry experience to help companies set and achieve their long-term goals.Perform accurate analysis and design effective solutions to a variety of client issuesManage business development activities, such as proposals, capture, account teams, whitepapers, conferences, and/or other thought leadership materialMeet or exceed sales targets for new and follow-on workMaintain a good working relationship with clients and work effectively with client management and staff at all levels to gather information and perform servicesWork closely with managers and partners to promptly identify and resolve client problems or issuesManage, develop, train, coach and mentor staff on projects and assess performance for engagement and year-end reviewsMeet or exceed targeted billing hours (utilization)Other duties as assignedYou have the following technical skills or qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting or FinanceMinimum 5 years of work-related experience in a consulting role serving cross-industry clients at a national level, or relative Finance function role(s) within industryIndustry recognized professional certification requiredStrong analytical skills and ability to perform quantitative analysis and develop business casesProcess analysis, Reporting & Business Intelligence, Data Analysis & ReconciliationWorking knowledge of Close-the-books, Chart-of-Accounts, Treasury, Financial Planning and Analysis & Financial BenchmarkingStrong interpersonal, facilitation and presentation skillsExcellent written and verbal skillsCan travel as needed. Expected travel is up to 30%The base salary range for this position is between $147,200 and $196,880. Placement within the pay range is at Grant Thornton's discretion, and it is based on multiple factors, including but not limited to, job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, progression within the role, geographic location, and internal equity.
