Part Time Parts Driver

The Part Time Parts Driver role at North Point Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram is an excellent opportunity for an individual who is interested in a Part Time position in the Automotive World! This individual contributor role offers hourly compensation and is located in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. This employee will be responsible for driving parts to and from the dealership, while adhering to all state and local regulations.

Responsibilities

• Delivers parts to customers, wholesale accounts and vendors
• Develop and maintain customer relationships
• Checks with parts manager, parts counter people and inventory manager before leaving to coordinate last minute pick ups or deliveries
• Verifies parts delivered match the customer invoice
• Collect payment for deliveries
• Unload truck and turn in all paperwork daily
• Handles basic maintenance of the delivery vehicle including filling the tank with gas, checking for service intervals and keeping the vehicle clean
• Assist the parts department with inventory and stocking needs as necessary
• Maintain a professional appearance

Qualifications

• Ability to complete assigned tasks
• Ability to safely lift, carry, and move items weighing up to 75 pounds as part of daily responsibilities
• Self-starter with ability to work well as part of a team or independently
• Positive attitude and can-do mentality
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
